Biopeople wins international 2nd prize for Network Championship in Innovation

Denmark has one of the best Innovation Networks in Northern Europe - Biopeople connects small and large Danish health and life sciences companies and researchers together and with partners abroad. Biopeople was voted number 2 in an international competition in Copenhagen after the Norwegian network NCE - Maritime.

"Biotechnology is a very internationally oriented industry. Therefore it is vital to forge contacts across borders to the institutions and companies that are leaders in their field. It is not always enough that you go to those you normally do, "says Per Spindler, director of Biopeople. "Through the new cooperation projects, it has been possible for Danish companies and institutions to share in the attractive EU programs" says Per Spindler.

Biopeoples top spot came home as the approx. 400 participants in the conference "NGP Cluster Excellence Conference 2011" SMS voting among seven selected projects on 26 May 2011 in Copenhagen.
